Andy Stroulger, RTC Reduction Manager, Essex County Fire & Rescue Service
Andy Stroulger has worked for Essex County Fire & Rescue Service since April 2010 and is the Service’s RTC reduction manager, responsible for all the service’s road safety products, activities and interventions.
Andy’s passion, however, is motorcycling and motorcycle safety, which forms an important part of his portfolio. Andy manages the Essex FireBike product, a very effective engagement and training product seeking to increase rider skills and reduce the number of motorcycle RTC KSIs in Essex.
He is also the motorcycle safety expert for the Safer Essex Roads Partnership (SERP) responsible for developing and delivering a wide range of motorcycle safety initiatives on behalf of the Partnership.
Andy is a RoSPA Gold advanced Rider and a RoSPA advanced motorcycle instructor.
